ITZY become fourth K-pop girl group to enter top 10 of Billboard 200 with ‘Checkmate’

있지 ‘체크메이트’, 빌보드 메인 음반 차트 8위로 진입

Korean girl group ITZY have reached number 8 on the U.S. Billboard 200 album chart with their new album “Checkmate”.
Billboard says the seven-track album sold 33-thousand units.
“Checkmate” is the group’s third time on the chart, following their 2021 albums “Guess Who” and “Crazy In Love”.
It is also their highest placing so far… and makes them only the fourth K-pop girl group to enter the top 10 of the Billboard 200, following BLACKPINK, TWICE, and aespa.
